The CIAA Annual Conference is more than just incredible interactive seminars and panels.  It’s a place where insurance accountants from across Canada come together to share best practices and discuss solutions to issues affecting many finance departments and companies in our industry.  It’s a time of year where new friends are made, and old friendships are renewed. 

When we concluded our last conference on September 18, 2019, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, we had no idea that the world was about to be turned upside down, and that three years would pass before we had the opportunity to gather again.  It is thus, with great excitement and anticipation that we are opening registration for our 2022 Annual CIAA Conference, which is being hosted in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This year’s conference promises to be truly excellent with a format that is unique to the CIAA. 

We’re excited to kick off our conference at the incredible Ravine Winery with a keynote address from Manjit Minhas of Dragons’ Den. We’ve dubbed Monday as Executive Day, which will include all of our CEO, CFO and CIO and Executive Panels along with sessions covering Reinsurance and Capital, and an Investment Market Update. Day two will be our Hot Topics Day, which will include sessions and panels discussing Diversity and Inclusion, ESG and Cyber Market review. We will close off the conference on Wednesday with a Finance and Accounting Day with sessions covering how to be a data driven CFO, the evolution of FP&A and the future of payments.

Of course, the CIAA is a social conference, and we will make sure our delegates have lots of time to connect and network with colleagues new and old. 

So please join us in Niagara Falls, Ontario, from September 11-14, 2022 for a conference that promises both a compelling business and social program.

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation fee of $300.00 applies until September 1, 2022, after which a cancellation fee of $900.00 will be charged. Substitutions will be allowed at no additional charge. 

COVID-19 Policy

The Ontario government has made updates to regulations confirming an end to proof of vaccination requirements for all businesses in the province, effective Tuesday, March 1.

As we have done throughout the pandemic, CIAA will continue to follow all public health guidelines related to COVID-19 and will comply with these provincial directives.
