Join CIAA

CIAA Membership is ideal for professionals employed by an insurance/reinsurance company, insurance/reinsurance broker or insurance agency, and actively engaged in or associated with the direction, supervision or carrying on of any financial or statistical activity of such insurance/reinsurance business. Benefits of membership include:

Professional development through industry webinars, seminars and conferences.
Ongoing learning through the CIAA Fundamentals of Insurance Accounting and Advanced Professional Development Program (Innovative Strategies).
Networking and knowledge sharing at annual industry conferences and social events
Advocacy - CIAA acts as a voice of the Property and Casualty Industry industry by liaising with other professional organizations.

In 2022 CIAA introduced a Webinar package for $200 (plus HST). The package includes a one year membership with CIAA, a guaranteed member rate for the Annual Conference, and most importantly, full access to the CIAA webinar series (live and recorded) during the membership term.

The standard membership for a fee of $170 (plus HST) is still available, although members will have to register for each CIAA webinar separately at the allotted member rate. Group rates will no longer be available.

Active Members are employed by an insurance/reinsurance company, insurance/reinsurance broker or insurance agency, and actively engaged in or associated with the direction, supervision or carrying on of any financial or statistical activity of such insurance/reinsurance business.

Active Membership Package:

One year membership with CIAA.
Two (2) votes on all matters upon which Members are eligible to vote.
Guaranteed member rate for the yearly Annual Conference
Full access to the CIAA webinar series (live and recorded) during the membership term.

Associate Members are a person other than one who is eligible to be an “Active Member”, is actively engaged in the supply of specialized knowledge or services to the insurance industry.

Associate Membership Package:

One year membership with CIAA.
One (1) vote on all matters upon which Members are eligible to vote.
Guaranteed member rate for the yearly Annual Conference
Full access to the CIAA webinar series (live and recorded) during the membership term.

Join CIAA as an Active Member if you are employed by an insurance/reinsurance company, insurance/reinsurance broker or insurance agency, and actively engaged in or associated with the direction, supervision or carrying on of any financial or statistical activity of such insurance/reinsurance business. Active Members are entitled to two (2) votes on all matters upon which Members are eligible to vote.

The CIAA webinar series includes 16.5 hours of industry relevant professional development content.

Associate Member + Webinars - $200.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments
Join CIAA as an Associate Member if you are a person other than one who is eligible to be an “Active Member”, is actively engaged in the supply of specialized knowledge or services to the insurance industry. Upon acceptance by the Board and upon payment of the Associate Membership fee, such person shall be admitted as an Associate Member and shall thereafter be entitled to one (1) vote upon all matters upon which Associated Members are eligible to vote.

The Associate Member + Webinars package includes a one year membership with CIAA, a guaranteed member rate for the upcoming Virtual Annual Conference, and most importantly, full access to the CIAA webinar series (live and recorded) during the membership term. The CIAA webinar series includes 16.5 hours of industry relevant professional development content.
