The Canadian Insurance Accountants Association was founded in 1934. The CIAA promotes the study, research and development of financial management and insurance accounting. Our organization provides for professional development and a forum for communication within the industry.

Who can join...

Active Members must be employed by an insurance/reinsurance company, insurance/reinsurance broker or insurance agency and be actively engaged in or associated with the direction, supervision or carrying on of any financial or statistical activity of such insurance/reinsurance business.

Associate Members must be actively engaged in the supply of specialized knowledge or services to the insurance industry.

The annual membership fee is $115.00 (plus applicable taxes)
and entitles Members to all the benefits of the CIAA.
